Headteacher's Message
I hope everyone enjoyed the Easter break and feel refreshed for the Summer term. There is a lot to do but also a lot to celebrate.
Firstly let me tell you what a joy it has been to see the happy smiling faces of our children and the positive way they have approached their learning.
This term we tentatively want to start up clubs again, taking advantage of the good weather and using our outdoor space as much as possible before and after school.
We also hope to relaunch the fantastic musical facilities we have at Kelvin Grove. Due to the uncertainty of this last year there has inevitably been a number of staff changes. All families have been affected by the challenges we have faced due to Coronavirus, this includes our staff.
As a community we need to make the year ahead one of rebuilding, supporting one another and strengthening what we have.
Polling Day
Please remember that Magenta and Orchid classes will be shut for Polling Day on Thursday 6th May.
Sisterhood Global Award
Congratulations to Van Doan in Azure class on her receipt of a Sisterhood Global Award 2021. The event was organised on 20th March as an online international conference with 100 nations across the world taking part.
Van joined this event with a presentation about her passion, her ideas and thoughts on being instrumental in changing the world issue of plastic pollution which she learned about in school. She also had a chance to meet and connect with other campaigners and has been inspired by them. Well done to Van from everyone at Kelvin Grove.

The aim of the supermarket is to provide regular opportunities for families in the community to buy food at a very discounted price to help support them in providing regular healthy meals for their families and children.
