What an exciting start to the Summer term we have had! We have been investigating a strange sighting of a mysterious beast spotted in Crystal Palace Park Maze over the Easter holidays. We have now discovered that it is a Minotaur. An Ancient Greek mythical beast! We have been learning all about Minotaur’s through a Greek Myth ‘Theseus and the Minotaur’ and are getting ready next week to write a non-chronological report about them. We are also looking forward to creating our very own mythical beast using clay.
In maths we are continuing to learn all about fractions. We have been finding halves and quarters of amounts and finding equivalent fractions as well as comparing them.
Our topic this half term is ‘Groovy Greeks’ where we are finding out all about the Ancient Greeks, who they were and the impact and influence they have on modern civilization.
