Indigo home learners are doing a fantastic job with their work and have been keeping very busy on Seesaw. Last week was our first Zoom meeting and it was lovely to see each other on screen. Our English work has been based on a story called ‘The Time-Slip Scarab’ and as a way of demonstrating our understanding of the text and the motivations of the characters we have been writing a number of formal letters in-role.
In maths we are becoming experts at multiplication as we have worked across a range of areas: factors, common factors, prime numbers and multiplying by 10, 100 and 1000.
We have also been looking further ahead into our futures and considering a job that we might like to have as adults. We looked at the salaries of different jobs and considered which jobs we felt are the most important and whether the pay reflects this! In Indigo class some of us would like to be: chefs, architects, investment bankers, footballers and tennis players. Here’s to our successful futures!
