This week Magenta have continued with their learning about Errol’s Garden.  We decorated our pots in preparation to plant seeds in them. We discussed and planned our ‘dream ideal’ gardens. Some of us wanted benches and rose bushes. Others said lights and swings! We will be visiting the school garden more this term as we learn more about growing.

Half the class visited Forest School for the first time. We loved it ! We learnt the rules about Forest School, and we had an explore around the ‘Forest’ . We went hunting for treasure and we met ‘Sammy the Squirrel’. We had fun jumping in muddy puddles and climbing the trees. We can’t wait for our next visit!

This week we discussed Shrove Tuesday and we learnt the religious reason for eating pancakes which is the start of Lent . 

In maths we are looking at different ways to find number bonds to 10.
