In Mint Class this past couple of weeks, the children have enjoyed a fabulous day with Mr History. They had an opportunity to dress up as an Ancient Greek warrior, explore how a catapult works and discovered how they have influenced our lives today. It was an extraordinary day!
In Art, the children have studied Greek patterns and vases and have discovered how the Greeks lived. They then used specific drawing skills to sketch these into their Art books. Once completed, they designed collagraphs and used these and ink to make stencils which were then used at prints on a plate.
In English, the children have spent the past couple of weeks researching information about several mythical beasts. This week they have worked extremely hard and have written a non-chronological report about Medusa, the Minotaur and Cyclops!
It has been a fabulous term! Have a wonderful Easter break!
