Magenta class have been fascinated by our new topic ‘Under the Sea‘. We started to read the information book ‘The Big Book of Blue‘ by Yuval Zommer. We focused on jellyfish this week and learnt some really interesting facts! Did you know jellyfish have no brain or ears ?!

We are becoming really good writers and have all been writing our own ‘jelly fish information book‘ . We will be expert marine biologists by the end of term! We also made jellyfish and painted them.

In maths we consolidated our number skills and demonstrated these in ‘first then & now‘ addition stories, where we added numbers up to 10 .
