This week we have been learning all about static electricity in Bronze Class. We started our learning by discussing what we already know about electricity and then considering what we would like to find out. After brainstorming our ideas, we then carried out a series of scientific experiments to investigate and understand how static electricity works. During our lessons, we used related scientific vocabulary to articulate our understanding and record our explanations in our books.
In English, we have started to plan and write our very own missing person report. As a class, we watched a short clip about a girl called Alma and then consider creative ways to innovate our own version of events – so watch this space for fantastic examples of our work!
In maths, we are continuing to work really hard leading up to SATs. Throughout the week, we have been revisiting topics that we have already learnt and practising these skills in a range of contexts. All of the teachers have been encouraging us to do our very best everyday so that we are proud of what we achieve.
