This term in Green class, we have been enjoying a water-filled, fun learning journey. We loved finding out about how essential water is and where it comes from and what we need it for. Through our texts, we have discovered lots about the creatures that live under the sea and how they are unique.
Our key texts this term are:

During our Maths sessions, we played a fishing game with numbered fish and had to sequence the numbers correctly once caught. It was awesome! In another activity, we cut along numbered straight lines to make eight tentacles which we used to make an octopus. We needed to colour the correct number of circles on each tentacle to match the numeral.
We made our very own aquarium using a paper plate. We also enjoyed singing the song ’1,2,3,4,5 once I caught a fish alive’ and used musical instruments to accompany our singing.
