This term in Gold Class, the children have been learning about the Vikings and when they invaded England. In English, we have been reading the book called ‘Arthur and the Golden Rope’. The children have been comparing an Icelandic town in real life to the Icelandic town in the fiction story. Later on, the children have been using direct speech punctuation to write what someone is saying in the story.

This week the children in Gold class have been collaborating as a team to design and make marble runs. The children worked together to compromise on colours for their marble run and used different coloured card to make their ‘run’ so that the marble could get to the end. Here is an example of one of their creations.​
