This half term, Bronze class will be learning about William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, Macbeth. The children started off their learning by familiarising themselves with the characters, making predictions and summarising the events so far. They can’t wait to read on and find out what’s in store for Macbeth.
In topic, the children will be embarking on a new geography unit where they will learn about: biomes, the human and physical features of countries, flags and lots more by designing their own countries.
In maths, the children are continuing to consolidate their learning and applying lots of the skills they have learnt throughout the year by designing their very own theme park.
In art Year 6 have been working really hard drawing still life in art this week. We looked at perspective and scale, trying to draw objects accurately with tone.
So far, the children have returned to school well rested and eager to begin their learning. Watch this space for more information about their learning adventures!
