Hello everyone and welcome back!
The children have settled in well to Jade Class. Our topic this term is ‘Stones N’ Bones’ where we will be learning all about how home life changed in the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. We learned about Stone Age cave paintings and enjoyed creating our very own pastel drawings for our launch day. What fun we had!
In Science, we have been learning about what humans need to stay healthy. In Maths we have been learning to make numbers to 100 using dienes and place value counters as well as using counters to make groups in different ways to100.
We have spent quite a bit of time learning our school values and why each one is so very important. We’ve used our circle times to discuss the importance of each of our school values and what they mean for us as a class and school. We are looking forward to a fun-filled term full of exciting learning opportunities.
