In Blue class this term we have been learning about Lighthouses connected to our topic ‘Light and Dark’. At the start of the term, we looked at different lighthouses and discussed how they worked and why lighthouse keepers were so important to their running.

The children watched the animation: ‘Lighthouse Keeper’. They then used what they had learnt to inspire their writing – they wrote in role as the grumpy lighthouse keeper and wrote a diary entry.
