We have had a fantastic start to the year in Green Class. Our topic is ‘Transport’ and we have read lots of texts linked to the topic: ‘My Gumpy’s Outing’; ‘The Naughty Bus’ and ‘The Jolly Postman’. We have written letters, written our own parts of stories and made predictions about what might happen next.

In Maths we have been revising our number bonds using cubes and counters and by playing games. We have also been busy in our mainstream classes in the afternoons.

Last week we had an exciting trip to soft play, we got the bus and then walked over the railway bridge until we arrived at Bellingham. It was great fun and we made some new friends from other schools!
