As part of our topic ‘Moving with the Times’, we had the chance to compare an electric car and a petrol car. Everyone was so excited to see two cars on the playground! We noticed a big difference in the sound and the smell of the cars. 

In English, we have been reading ‘Mrs Armitage on Wheels’, which we have found quite funny. We have written a character description of Mrs Armitage, using adjectives and giving reasons for our ideas. Mrs Armitage is very unusual because she puts a mast, a sail and bunting onto her small bike! 

In Maths we have been looking at fact families and related facts. If we know that 5 + 3 is 8, then we know that 15 + 3 is 18, and 25 + 3 is 28. If we know that 6 + 4 is 10, then we know that 60 + 40 is 100.
