Saffron class has started Autumn 2 term with enthusiasm – and lots of layers! Last week we wondered who a big rucksack belonged to, and so unpacked it carefully: it was an Arctic explorer’s, just like Tom in our English book ‘The Great Explorer’.
In Art, as our topic is Pole to Pole, we looked at the work of the artist Ted Harrison, and created our own Arctic masterpieces in the same style.
In Maths we have been looking at adding and subtracting 10s and 1s, and looked at how 10 1s was the same as 1 10!
Saffron class also enjoyed our well-deserved class treat with children enjoying variety of activities: lego, playmobil, bracelet- making, general crafts and painting. We’re loving our new topic so far and excited about the weeks to come!
