This week has been a very busy week in Bronze Class. In Maths, we are continuing to work on our understanding of long multiplication in the form of basic calculations and word problems. We have also been challenging ourselves by considering how we can use the inverse to help us when solving missing number problems.
In English, we are continuing our suspense writing based on a short animation film called ‘Francis’. We have been using this short film to consider the different techniques used by writers to create changes in mood, atmospheres and characters.
In topic, we are still enjoying our learning about the circulatory system. So far, we have attempted to label the different parts of our body to see what we already know and then used this to generate any unanswered questions we may have. This week we are going to label the different parts of the heart and use role play to understand how blood travels around the circulatory system and what happens to our blood along the way.
