Saffron class have been having a great week!
Our new Science topic ‘Soil, seeds and sunshine’ has been fun and interesting. We’ve been enjoying learning all about what plants need to grow, the difference between seeds and bulbs, and much much more. We are looking forward to identifying and naming different plants on our school trip to Beckenham Place park this week. In English we have been writing a brochure enticing visitors to the park and can’t wait to share them. Next week we will be writing a fact file on carnivorous plants.
We have just moved on to measurement in Maths and have been practising measuring accurately. We have been developing our over arm throwing as part of our athletics unit in PE, and in Art we looked at artist and craft maker Amii Tsang. We designed and made pinch pots out of clay inspired by her works and once they were dry, we got to paint them. Look at some of our fabulous finished products!
