What a fantastic term Bronze class have had. In English we have been reading Mr Linden’s Library, writing suspense stories using images as a stimulus. We have been innovating our own ideas this week so next week we can begin writing our own suspense stories… you’ll have to wait for our next post to read those!
In Maths we have been problem solving using long division, and mastering applying multiplication and division in a wide range of contexts.
We have continued to develop and refine our scrape painting skills in our art lessons and this week created pieces showcasing the new skills we have learnt using palette knives and precision applicator bottles. It has been extremely rewarding seeing all our hard work come together and of course has been heaps of fun to do! We are really proud of the abstract artworks we have created and were surprised by how different everyone’s pieces were.
In Science we have been preparing for our sessions next week where we will be dissecting a pigs heart! Eek! This is a fantastic opportunity and will give us a real chance to apply the knowledge we have learnt and consolidate our learning of the circulatory system. We can’t wait to get stuck in!
