Cobalt Class have been busy the past few weeks learning the key features of a non-chorological report and then writing non-chorological reports based on our very own sustainable crop, inspired from our focus text “Weslandia.”
In Maths we have been developing our knowledge on perimeter. We have worked out the perimeter of rectangles and squares, now we are working on calculating the missing lengths and perimeter of rectilinear shapes. We have learnt we can use repeated addition as well as our timetables to help us!
This week we rolled up sleeves up and became bakers! We learnt how recipes are adapted for a number of reasons and discussed why this is important to know. We then created short bread biscuits, where we added our very own adaptations. We ended the day by enjoying our biscuits and evaluated them. They were delicious!!
