We have had a great time this term in Green class.
In History, we have been studying Ancient Greece. We have looked at how life has changed from then to now and learned about the start of democracy and the Olympics! We have studied Greek art and designed our own Greek pottery depicting our life today. We even had a go at printing Greek patterns – messy but fun!
Our English our focus has been on Greek Mythology. We wrote reports about the mythological creatures Medusa and the Minotaur and then designed our own terrifying creatures. We are now crafting battle scenes using lots of action verbs to add excitement. Today is publishing day when we make a book of our writing. We’ve been very hands-on in Maths with our measuring topic. We could tell you the length, mass and capacity of nearly everything in our classroom…..if you stand still long enough we’ll probably measure you!
