We’ve had an exciting time in Copper Class, packed with creativity, learning, and fun projects. Here’s a look at what we’ve been working on:
Biographies: We have been delving into the lives of inspiring individuals as part of our biography unit. They’ve researched, written, and shared stories about famous figures, learning about their achievements and the challenges they overcame. It’s been wonderful to see the students’ enthusiasm and dedication to bringing these stories to life.
Art – Tessellations: In art, we’ve been exploring the fascinating world of tessellations. Copper class have been creating beautiful, intricate designs by repeating shapes without gaps or overlaps. This project has not only boosted their artistic skills but also helped them understand geometric concepts in a fun and engaging way.
Maths – Theme Park Project: Maths has taken a creative turn with our theme park project. Year 6 have been using their mathematical knowledge to design their own theme parks, calculating costs, planning layouts, and ensuring everything fits together perfectly. This project has been a great way to apply mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios, and the results have been impressive!
