This week has been super busy for us in Year 5! We recently went on an amazing trip to the Greenwich Observatory. We had a fantastic day at the Planetarium and learned so much during the workshop and the show. We particularly enjoyed discovering how the planets in our solar system were formed and some interesting facts about each one. Did you know that Jupiter was the first planet to be formed?
We also had our Sports Day rescheduled at school, and even in the rain, we had lots of fun. We did a range of activities including Castle Ball, long jump, javelin, relay racing, egg & spoon race, and (our favourite!) running with the giant foam feet! We had the closest battle of any Kelvin Grove Sports Day with Violet Class being the ultimate winners, beating Lavender Class by just 1 point!
