Lilac Class were thrilled to learn that we were winners in The Day’s Lego Build the Change competition! This competition invited children to think about how spaces could be improved for nature and play. The children designed spaces such as roads, imagining what they might be like if closed to cars.

As part of the prize, children in Lilac Class had the opportunity to meet online with a Lego designer named George Gilliat. They learned about his journey to becoming a Lego designer and how he plans and creates the Lego sets available in stores. We look forward to playing with the Lego they will be sending us!
