Year 3 had a unique opportunity to experience real-life fossils! In Year 3 we carefully examined different types of rocks, deciding whether they were igneous, metamorphic or sedimentary. We discovered that 99% of fossils are marine animals! It was like taking a step back in time! We also read descriptions of various rocks, and then matched samples with their descriptions.   🦴
