Yesterday evening the children celebrated two birthdays during dinner and enjoyed a delicious homemade chocolate cake!
Year 5 have had a full-on busy second day at Nethercott Farm, getting thoroughly involved in farm life. In their groups, the children have been harvesting potatoes, collecting eggs, preparing the grounds while gardening, and helping to clean and feed the pigs and horses. One group also visited Bridgetown Farm, where they had the opportunity to feed the cows and sheep. The day included some time at Forest School, giving them a chance to explore and learn outdoors. A highlight of the day was an amazing session learning how to make pizza from scratch, with everyone enjoying the hands-on experience.
