Year 5 have had another busy and rewarding day at Nethercott Farm. They spent the morning harvesting vegetables in the garden, including some freshly picked Brussels sprouts, which they’ll be enjoying with dinner tonight. A very exciting moment on the farm was the arrival of new born piglets! One lucky group had the chance to visit them today, watching as they fed and settled in. The children have also loved caring for the ponies, gently combing their fur, and taking care of the cows. Later in the day, they worked hard to help the Nethercott community by loading and shifting mulch for the gardens—a big team effort! Another great day, and they’re looking forward to what tomorrow brings.
