We highlighted Safer Internet Day this week with an assembly from Mr Hyde emphasising how important it is to stay safe online. He spoke about this year’s theme: and we talked about who our trusted adults are for support. In classes we looked closer at the theme and learnt how to stay safe from online scams, how you can identify online risks and how we protect our personal information. It was important to talk about how we make safe choices online and become scam-aware!
Today, we took part in Safer Internet Day, learning all about online scams and how to stay safe. In assembly, we talked about different types of scams and why it’s important to protect our personal information.
In class, we did fun activities to help us spot fake messages, tricky websites, and scams that try to trick people. We also talked about who our trusted adults are and how they can help us if something online doesn’t seem right.
We feel more confident about staying safe online and making smart choices. Safer Internet Day has helped us become more scam-aware and responsible digital users!
