Year 4 had an incredible time exploring Deptford Creek on our trip to Creekside Discovery Centre!
During our visit, we had fun using rubber ducks to help measure the velocity of the water to see how fast the creek flows. We also, investigated how tides and human activity affect the environment and identified different freshwater and saltwater creatures living in the creek.
It was so exciting to see what lives beneath the water and to explore the creek from a completely new perspective. Turquoise class even found a leech!
Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Creekside. What an unforgettable adventure!
