We’ve been learning all about the fascinating Maya civilisation in our Art lessons recently! It was so interesting to study their incredible calendar system and look at all the detailed and intricate glyphs they used to represent different days and months.

For our project, we got to design our very own calendar glyphs. We carefully planned our designs, thinking about the patterns and symbols we wanted to include. After designing them, we carefully sculpted them from clay. It was brilliant to see our ideas come to life, and we’re really proud of the amazing final results!
