We have been getting creative in Year 3 to celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights. We learned all about why light is so important for the festival and decided to make our very own diya.

We carefully shaped our lamps out of clay, making sure they were the perfect shape to hold a light. Once they were ready, the best part began… decorating! We used lots of glitter to make sure our diyas sparkle and shine brightly. They look beautiful, and we really enjoyed learning about this special celebration.
