Year 6 had a brilliant time this week visiting the Centre of the Cell at Queen Mary University. We loved exploring the amazing ‘Neuron Pod’ and the interactive ‘STEM Pod,’ which is actually suspended right inside a real working research laboratory!
We learned so much about the human body, with a special focus on the circulatory system. It was fascinating to use the interactive games to see how our hearts pump blood and to discover what happens inside our cells. We even got to see some real human organs on display! It was a fantastic, hands-on learning experience that really brought our science topic to life.
