We’ve been getting hands-on (and a little bit messy!) in Science this week. To help us understand what flows through our veins, we created our very own ‘blood’ in class using different ingredients to represent the different components.
We used different materials to model red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and plasma. It was fascinating to mix them all together and see how the cells float within the plasma. This experiment really helped us visualise the composition of blood and remember the important job that each cell does to keep us healthy!
