Year 5 have arrived safely at Nethercott Farm after a long coach journey and were very grateful to settle in at Nettercott House with a huge and hearty lunch! It was exciting to find out who would be in our dorms and what our day groups would be. After unpacking and exploring the house, we jumped straight into chores and farm jobs, getting stuck in like real farmers and meeting some of the animals along the way.

This morning we were up bright and early to feed the chickens, horses, pigs, and donkeys, after all, on the farm, the animals always eat first! We then enjoyed a hearty breakfast ourselves and are now excited to get stuck into cooking in the kitchens and tending to the gardens, learning new skills and helping out wherever we can.
