The KG Circle
The KG Circle is the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) for Kelvin Grove Primary School whose primary function is to help the school raise funds and support the school’s community. The Kelvin Grove Charitable Trust is a registered charity. Funds raised are used to provide and assist in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not provided by Lewisham Council).
The KG Circle is open to anyone who wants to be involved. Families work together with staff to raise money for the school, and generally support the school’s efforts towards a shared goal. Every time you go to a fair or buy a cake at a cake sale you are supporting the school and benefiting your children directly.
Every year, The KG Circle holds an AGM (Annual General Meeting), a yearly meeting for all members of the association. Everyone is invited to attend the AGM meeting and any parent or carer can put themselves forward to play a role on the PTA committee.
Ways to get involved?
Volunteer your time – this could be as little or as much as you can offer.

- Selling Raffle Tickets

There is a fantastic scheme whereby employers provide funding for organisations such as The KG Circle through their employees. It is a very simple yet immensely useful tool from which extra funding can be raised for our school. This can help us to match funds to events that we run, like the Winter and Summer Fair.
