This week reception children travelled to China to celebrate Chinese New Year ! This year is the year of the Rat. We read the ‘ Great Race ‘ and learnt which animals are in the Chinese Zodiac.
We had great fun making New year cards to take home, tried to write Chinese letters & tasted Chinese Noodles with soy sauce and prawn crackers. We also practised saying ‘Kung hei fat Choi’ !
