In Rising Stars the children at home and school have been reading “Leon and the Place Between”. We came into the classroom to find a magic tent and lanterns beautifully lit. We talked about how Leon might be feeling while he was waiting for the magic to start. This week we are going to learn some magic tricks!
In maths we have been learning about tally charts and how to use them to draw bar charts. We found out what our favourite colours and foods are. We answered questions about what different tally and bar charts were telling us. For example, we found out that in Rising Stars more people liked pancakes than toast!
In social skills we have been thinking about things that make us happy. The children at home drew all the things that make them happy on hearts.
We are really proud of the children at home, you are working so hard and we have loved seeing the work you have been returning to school.
