Year 1 in school have created their own Picasso inspired faces.  We looked at some of the famous paintings created by Picasso during his cubism period and  pupils used their knowledge of shape from our Maths lessons to create their own faces. We discussed colours and how they can contrast or compliment each other. Children then glued the different shapes on to the main face.  They look incredibly colourful along the year 1 corridor.
