In Orchid class we have become ‘Wormologists’ and have been finding out about worms. We have enjoyed reading the book ‘Yucky Worms’ and finding out facts about worms. We are now writing our own sentences about worms as we think that they are wonderful, not yucky!
Max told us “Worms make tunnels under the ground. When it rains, the water goes into the tunnels. Flowers have roots to suck up the water to help them grow.”
Antosh said “Worms are long and strong and they poo in the mud..’
Damien was able to tell us that worms have muscles and that they use their muscles to move.
Osian found worms wriggling in the soil outside and sent us this photo on Tapestry. Thanks Osian!
