What an exciting few weeks it has been in Jade Class! We have been very busy learning all about the Ancient Greeks as part of our ‘Groovy Greeks’ topic. We learnt about how the modern Olympic games and theatres have their roots in Ancient Greek entertainment! Our Ancient Greek theme has continued and we have been designing and creating our own mythical beasts made from clay. Look out for these at the end term. We had so much fun! We are now very busy writing our own Greek Myths which features our very own beasts that we designed.
In maths, the fun has continued as we have been learning how to add and subtract fractions. We have also been re-capping our 3 ,4 and 8 times tables and related division facts to help us with finding fractions of different amounts.
