Cinnamon Class have had an absolutely brilliant week of learning!
This week in Science the children have been learning about how water travels to the different parts of plants. We carried out an experiment using a range of flowers and celery with coloured water. What we discovered was nothing short of a miracle! We discovered that the zylem is responsible for transporting the water to the different parts of the plant.
In Maths, we have been learning about unit fractions. We used ingredients to make different fraction pizzas! What a shame that we couldn’t devour them ourselves!
Throughout the week, we have been writing our fact files about the Venus Flytrap and other unusual plants. In Art, the children also did a fantastic job of making their own Venus Flytraps this week! What a week!
Happy Half Term everyone from Cinnamon Class!
