This term our topic is ‘From City to Seaside’. We started the week by reading the text, ‘A Walk in London’, by Salvatore Rubbino. The text took us on a tour around London and introduced us to lots of London’s famous spaces and landmarks. As part of our learning about London, we went on a local walk to explore the skylines and learn about key landmarks in Forest Hill. Did you know that The Horniman Museum is one of the top places to visit in London?

In maths we are learning about time. This week we have be focusing on telling the time so we have made our own clocks to familiarise ourselves with features of an analogue clock.

Please help your child with their learning by talking to them about the sequence of events throughout their day and regularly encouraging them to help you to tell the time.
