This week in Magenta we focused on our transition to Year 1. We visited our new classroom  ‘Apricot class’. We met Mrs Blackley who will be our new class teacher in September and also met Mrs Merzouki, our new teaching assistant who read a story to us. We explored our new classroom  and had a look around the Year 1 playground. We explored the Year 1 classrooms and compared what is similar and what is different. 

We also read the story ‘Ruby’s worries‘ this week. It is about a girl who has a worry but the worry gets bigger because she doesn’t talk about it.

We reflected on the year we have had in Reception and made a memory box to remember all the good things we have learnt or experienced in our class. We have loved being in Magenta but are excited about moving to Year 1 !​
