Blue Class have enjoyed reading ‘The Dark’ by Lemony Snicket over the last two weeks. This is a story about a boy called Lazlo who is afraid of the dark, but manages to overcome his fear. We mapped out Lazlo’s journey from his bedroom all the way down to the basement, and walked through our maps, retelling the story. This week we are researching nocturnal animals and writing fact files about them. 

In Maths we have been working on addition and subtraction problems, and learning to recall number bonds to 10 and doubles within 20. 

The highlight of this week was our visit to Bellingham Leisure Centre where we all had a fantastic time. The whole class especially loved the big red slide!
