Parent Governor Statement

Child’s Name: Agatha and Dotty Heathfield-Proudlove (Ochre & Cerise classes)

As a parent of two pupils at Kelvin Grove, in Reception and Year Two, I’m deeply invested in the success of the school. I want to play a part in raising its profile and ensuring that every child can flourish in the education and care they receive here.

As a primary school teacher myself, in a similar community school, I am aware of the day to day challenges of working in a school environment and the many rewarding experiences it offers too. I have been impressed with the school’s work on developing a love of learning, as well as focusing on the well being of the children and staff, and want to see these aspects of the school develop further. As both a parent and a teacher, I feel I have the knowledge, passion and drive to support Kelvin Grove to become the school of choice for future families.
