The children are all very happy to be back and have returned ready to explore, have fun and be with their friends.  They have been so articulate in sharing their holiday news to the class, as well as showing good listening skills towards each other.   The class have missed each other’s company and have settled back to playing collaboratively, sharing, taking turns and more importantly chatting to each other.   It has been lovely listening to their conversations.

Our topic is Winter, and we have talked about how we need to keep warm, how the trees have changed and the ice on the ground in the morning.  We have enjoyed playing with our arctic scene which included real ice, painting snowy scenes and decorating snowflakes.
