As part of our local ‘Superhero’ topic, we welcomed some exciting visitors to talk about their roles. We met police Andrea, dentist Louise, vet Kay, nurse Faye and Supermarket key worker Charlotte. They all spoke about their jobs, describing what they do and we had the opportunity to ask them questions! We read ‘A superhero like you’ by Doctor Ranj. 

With police Andrea, we discussed the importance of road safety and stranger danger. She showed us how to safely cross the road. Dentist Louise demonstrated how to correctly brush our teeth, we were given special charts to monitor how we get on with this at home! The vet and nurse spoke about their jobs and it was really interesting to ask them questions.

This week we celebrated Lunar New Year. We ate noodles and prawn crackers. We made cards and all took some chopsticks home to practise with.
