In Saffron class we have launched our new Year 2 Topic ‘Animals and Me’ where we will be looking at the similarities and differences between humans and different classifications of animals. We started with some wonderful watercolours of our favourite animals, and then on Monday Saffron class went to the Horniman Museum to visit the aquarium.  We also got to see and handle a turtle shell, a shark’s jaw (with very sharp teeth) and our favourite was the long python snake skin. We loved being able to touch the scales!  We had a wonderful time and all the grown ups commented on how wonderfully behaved we were.
