We have been very busy growing in Nursery. The children have explored what seeds and plants need to grow and stay healthy. We have also read the stories ‘The Tiny Seed’ and ‘Ten Little Seeds’. The children have all made their own Grass Heads and have taken them home to look after and grow. Once their Grass Head has grown its hair, the children have been asked to bring them back to Nursery to show the class. We are looking forward to seeing them with lots of hair!
We have also been working on close observational drawings, first talking about what we are looking at, their shape and size and then the children have had a go at drawing the class Spider Plant and our germinating cress seeds.
The children have enjoyed making their own cress sandwiches and were very excited to take them home and share with their families. We hope you all enjoyed eating them!
