This week Year 3 have been learning how to divide 2 digit numbers by a 1 digit number using partitioning and our knowledge of times tables.
In English we have started looking at different Greek myths to identify their features and begin planning a non-fiction, non-chronological report on different mythical beasts. Some children have begun to bring in or send photos of their home learning and it’s looking fab!. In History, we have been placing key events in Ancient Greek history on a timeline and inferring what we can learn about life from the images left behind on Ancient Greek pottery.
In Computing we have been learning about the different components of a computer and building a paper laptop. For World Book Week we dressed up and shared a story with Reception children. In Science we have been learning about how animals are adapted to their habitats. In PSHCE we have been learning about making healthy choices at meal times and how this impacts our bodies.
