Cobalt Class have become river experts! We are learning all about the features of rivers and why rivers are so important ecologically and for human use. As part of our topic we have been designing and making bridges for crossing a river. Our bridges constructed for our home learning have been spectacular!
In English, we are writing our own warning tale based on Pie Corbett’s short story – ‘The Caravan’. We are using a range of techniques to draw in the reader and develop suspense!
In Science lessons we have been exploring changing states. Last week, we completed an investigation on what helps the process of evaporation and this week we are exploring how some types of chocolate will melt more easily than others. As the temperature rises in our classroom and the sun pours in melting and evaporating are on the rise!
